About The Inspector:

Edward Parker is a leading Licensed Home Inspector in Wilmington NC and surrounding area. He has a passion for inspecting homes for his clients. He is a Veteran and truly enjoys connecting with the community and meeting all types of people. Growing up in the real estate world, Edward has developed an appreciation of architecture, design, and build of homes. His goal is to ensure his clients feel knowledgeable about the home and at ease during the inspection process.

When Edward is not inspecting your dream home, he likes to go to all the beautiful parks that are in the area with his wife and 2 dogs Kenan (a rescue Plott Hound/Boxer mix) and Bennett (a Golden Retriever). He is often out fishing (usually more fishing than catching) on the intracoastal, or at a local brewery relaxing with some friends. Edward loves to take advantage of all the wonderful things Wilmington has to offer and truly feels so lucky to live in such a beautiful place

The importance of a good home inspector:

A home inspection will cost you a little bit of time and money, but in the long run, you'll be glad you did it. The inspection can reveal problems that you may be able to get the current owners to fix before you move in. For new home construction, it's an imperative part of the home buying process. If you are a first-time home buyer, an inspection can give you a crash course in home maintenance and a checklist of items that need attention to make your home as safe and sound as possible. Whatever the situation, addressing issues early through a home inspection can save you tens of thousands of dollars down the road.
